انطلقت فعاليات “أسبوع البيئة السعودي 2025″، الذي تنظمه وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة ممثلة بمبادرة التوعية البيئية، بمشاركة واسعة، وذلك تحت شعار “بيئتنا كنز”.
ويأتي تنظيم هذه المناسبة السنوية تأكيدًا لالتزام المملكة بالمحافظة على البيئة وتعزيز استدامة مواردها الطبيعية، انسجامًا مع رؤية المملكة 2030، واستكمالًا للمبادرات الرائدة التي أطلقتها مثل “مبادرة السعودية الخضراء”.
وتهدف الفعاليات إلى رفع مستوى الوعي البيئي في المجتمع، وتحفيز تبني الممارسات البيئية السليمة، إلى جانب إشراك جميع شرائح المجتمع في جهود حماية البيئة، بما يضمن استدامتها للأجيال القادمة.
وتُقام فعاليات متنوعة في مختلف مناطق المملكة، من بينها منطقة مكة المكرمة التي شهدت تدشين معرض توعوي بـ”ذا فيلج مول” في جدة، يتضمن ورش عمل وجلسات نقاش وعروضًا تفاعلية بمشاركة نخبة من المتخصصين والجهات البيئية، إلى جانب حملات توعوية على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي لتعزيز السلوكيات البيئية الإيجابية.
وفي الحدود الشمالية، أطلق فرع الوزارة سلسلة من المبادرات تشمل تنظيم معرضين بيئيين، وتنفيذ حملات لتشجير الأودية والمدارس بأكثر من 5 آلاف شتلة، فضلًا عن إطلاق مبادرات توعوية تستهدف طلاب المدارس والأسر، وتنظيم رحلات بيئية وزيارات ميدانية لمواقع طبيعية، وطرح فرص تطوعية بيئية.
أما في نجران، فتضمنت الفعاليات مبادرات للتشجير والنظافة، وزيارات ميدانية للمدارس والجهات الحكومية، بهدف رفع الوعي البيئي وتعزيز الغطاء النباتي، ضمن جهود مستمرة لدعم الاستدامة البيئية والارتقاء بجودة الحياة. وتشارك الجهات الحكومية والخاصة والجمعيات البيئية بجهود تكاملية تسهم في ترسيخ مفهوم الاستدامة، وتُعرض من خلال المعارض المصاحبة حلول ومشاريع مبتكرة تُبرز الجهود الوطنية في حماية البيئة.
ودعت وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة الجميع إلى المشاركة الفاعلة في هذه الفعاليات، والإسهام في بناء مستقبل بيئي مستدام، يعكس التزام المملكة بتحقيق تنمية شاملة ومتوازنة تحافظ على ثروات الطبيعة للأجيال القادمة.
